Excellent Customer Service!

Excellent Customer Service! This will be our third year using AVS Elevator Service. A couple of years ago we were frantically trying to locate a company to repair our wheelchair lift. (The previous company was no longer in business.) Thankfully we found AVS Elevator. Both Frank and Dennis came out the same day, located the problem immediately and made the repairs. We were back in business! Their promptness, courtesy and knowledge are also a plus.

—Vinson Properties LLC

AVS Elevator is a dream elevator service company.

Owning an elevator is an easy thing but finding the right elevator service company is a task that all elevator’s owners has to face. These companies say they can service all make and model elevators. But, it is a false and misleading promises. Fortunately, for us we have found Advance Vertical Services elevator (AVS) is a dream elevator service company. We have used and been disappointed with all of the elevator service companies in Portland; Thyssenkrupt, Kone, Centric, Otis, they are in the list disappointed ordering. These companies want to charge $350-$450 per hour. The techs are mostly untrained and they are shotgunning with expensive parts at your dime. However, with AVS elevator, they are passionate and stay behind their word and quality work. If you are looking for the right elevator service company than look no further by calling Frank, the owner of AVS at (877-221-8554). You will not be disappointed with his response and quality service. We are VERY happy and grateful to AVS to service our elevators on the OREGON Coast.

I have been so impressed with this Inclinator elevator, the design, operation, fit, and finish

AVS Elevator, It was a pleasure meeting you and the Inclinator company President. I have been so impressed with this Inclinator elevator, the design, operation, fit, and finish. I know this job site presented some challenges but the installation team at AVS Elevator was top notch and I am very impressed with their expertise and concern for a perfect fit and proper operation. They were probably the “NEATEST” subcontractor on this home construction as well! I am also comforted to know that service is nearby if I should ever need assistance. As I mentioned, my previous experience with a home elevator was on an island in the Puget Sound and service was a ferry ride away (and many hours) so I am much more comfortable knowing support is minutes away. Again, my sincere thanks to Frank and his team as we are so very grateful for the custom gate/track modifications that will allow us to get Rick’s power chair into our New Inclinator Elevator. As I mentioned, this is a significant improvement over our first elevator and we recognized it right away. The final modifications to ensure the maximum entrance width for my husband’s Permobil wheelchair will make all the difference for us!

—Marta

Hi Frank, Thank you for getting Travis out here so quickly. He was friendly and knowledgeable and patient while I hunted down the key for the motor section. I happily passed your information on with a hearty recommendation too.

—Marilyn

Professional and Friendly.

Hi Frank, I wanted to thank you for the time you spent today on the stairlift. We are both very impressed with the level of personalised service and after care that you provide. Everyone that worked on the stairs and lift have been really professional and friendly, and my mum is really pleased with the results.

Frank and Rich were assets to our team and we appreciate all that AVS Elevator’s has done

“AVS Elevator was immeasurably helpful to KNCC in the coordination and installation of a material lift for our client in Central Oregon! Frank Stalen’s knowledge of code and compliance is vast, and his willingness to help us understand the mechanics behind the machines he specializes in exceeded our highest expectations. Calm and cool through the typical challenges of this line of work, Frank and Rich were assets to our team and we appreciate all that AVS Elevator’s has done, not only for KNCC, but for our client.

Elizabeth House Asst. Project Manager- Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company” —Sincerely, Elizabeth

I look forward to working with your company in the future.

Frank, After further review of the documentation, I would like to use AVS Services for my elevator needs but am unable to break my contract with Otis at this time. Thank you again I look forward to working with your company in the future. Take care,

—Kari, Executive Director at Community Outreach, Inc.

Thank you guys—you’re the best!

I needed help with my wheelchair lift immediately and didn’t know where to turn. I called several elevator companies but when Dwayne answered the phone at AVS and listened to my needs and asked important questions about the lift, I knew that this was the company that genuinely cared about my situation and its urgency. The very next morning, I had the owner of the company and an experienced and well seasoned technician getting my lift to work. What a relief! They worked with me to get the lowest cost option that fit my needs and took great care of me. Thank you guys—you’re the best!

You guys have helped us a bunch since you came on.

Hey Frank I just wanted to send a good email… since we get so few of those these days. Of course our elevators are old and our residents are not nice to them, but I have definitely seen an improvement in the last few months with AVS Elevator taking care of us. Especially with the resident near by and thanks you for being able to sleep well again. She’s been struggling with elevator noise for years. It was just a few weeks ago when Travis switched out the rollers and she instantly noticed a difference. If you have a magic potion to get residents to respect the elevators and not knock the doors off track I’ll still take it, but you guys have helped us a bunch since you came on. Thank you!

Your patience and professionalism is certainly amazing and much appreciated!

Dear Frank I can’t thank you enough for the fine work you did getting our elevator going Up-n-Down. As you know, our church has been going through a number of trials, and seeing this project completed has been like seeing sunny skies after a long dark period. The signed maintenance agreement is enclosed and we have already had a surprise inspection from the state inspector! Your patience and professionalism is certainly amazing and much appreciated! I am glad you are overseeing the maintenance of the elevator! Humbly,

—Jan S. Congregation President

Thank you for your quick and organized elevator service. Even thought Frank had to respond to an emergency they made time in the evening to come and repair my Inclinator home elevator. He is a Prince ! Thank you !

The elevator is now running very smooth!

The elevator is now running very smooth. Thanks for getting this fixed. Our previous elevator company never could get it to work properly.

The service you provided us was well beyond any service I have ever experienced from any Elevator Company.

Frank, I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate the effort and time you and your team provided us in the urgent elevator repair we had. The service you provided us was well beyond any service I have ever experienced from any Elevator Company. This all beginning with the first call to your company. I see us working together more in the near future. It is great to work with an Elevator Company that not only provides excellent elevatror service but understands the customers needs. Thank you again.

—Dennis Giusto, Holiday Retirement

Great service and super-fast turn-around from your company. Impressive indeed!

Dear Frank, We are so pleased with the work Dennis did on our “vintage” lift yesterday, and with the great service and super-fast turn-around from your company. Impressive indeed! The Annual Maintenance and Testing Checklist that Dennis left with me seems to call for service every six months, rather than annually? We want to be in compliance with State requirements, and would appreciate clarification so we schedule your next visit accordingly. Thanks again for a great job!

—Debbie

If you want your elevator costs cut along with having a conscientious, owner-run business maintaining your elevator, then call AVS.

The AVS gentlemen helped us a tremendous amount in reducing the cost of our elevator. Frank and Dwayne came to our church and gave us a bid of about half the price of the company we had been dealing with. They also explained that the other company was overcharging us on battery maintenance ($600 for 15 minutes of labor and a $20 battery). AVS covers the same battery replacement in the maintenance agreement for free! Frank and Dwayne were courteous, helpful, and informative about reducing our costs to a minimum. If you want your elevator costs cut along with having a conscientious, owner-run business maintaining your elevator, then call AVS.

They did a great job installing a stairlift at my mom’s beach house.

The did a great job installing a stairlift at my mom’s beach house, which had very steep and narrow stairway. She loves the stairlift and feels so much more free to get around her place… and family all feels better knowing she’s less likely to fall down the stairs. Thank you!

Inclinator is very excited to have such a knowledgeable dealer on our team

“I have had the pleasure of working with Frank Stalen and his company over the last 3 years. Frank has installed and serviced elevators in the Greater Portland area for over 25 years. Inclinator is very excited to have such a knowledgeable dealer on our team. Over the past 3 years I have found Advanced Vertical Solutions and examinee, Frank Stalen to be extremely competent and trust worthy in the industry.”

—Cindy Bernardo Regional Sales Manager Inclinator Company of America

I have been very happy with your elevator company and look forward to working with you further.”

After calling just about every Elevator Company in town about this job, you have been the only one to help us get this lift back up and running, so that is impressive in itself. The store was happy with the work done also.” “I personally appreciate your quick response to my phone calls & emails & keeping us updated on your site visits, estimates and work done. Communication is a vital part of what we do with managing jobs & keeping our client updated, so when we find companies that value that also it makes our job so much easier. I have been very happy with your elevator company and look forward to working with you further. Have a great weekend!

We’re very happy with the chairlift !

Hi Frank, Hope things are going well with you. I’ve had some other lodges interested in the chair your company installed for us. Can you provide me a few of the brochures, I would like to hand them to a couple of the lodges when I visit. We’re very happy with the chair, it works great and happy we went with your company.

—Charlie, Phoenix Lodge

I would recommend to anyone who is looking for excellent service.

AVS elevator, owned by Frank Stalen is a company I would recommend to anyone who is looking for excellent service and professional, thorough and straightforward elevator maintenance. He rescued my old elevator with care and provided a long range approach to maintenance.”

Great work from very qualified people.

This is my third year of using AVS Elevator service, l had my home in Salem Oregon built in 2006 and at that time had a different company install the elevator and do the yearly service but felt they were very expensive for a less than 20 minute service so l checked around and called AVS. I had them come out three years ago and check things out and perform the Inclinator recommended services, and was pleased with their promptness, courtesy and knowledge and have had them out now for each of the last three years. Great work from very qualified people. Keep up the good work guys and Thank You.

Keeping our Elevator going Up-n-Down

Frank and his team have brought our elevator back to life several times now. Given that our system hardware is now obsolete we are very lucky AVS is able to keep her alive.

Thank you for assisting with pointing me in the right direction, I greatly appreciate it

Hi Frank, Thank you for stopping in. I will take you up on your offer to help guide me thru the permit renewal process. I looked on the e-Permitting website and notice Tualatin licenses thru WA county and does not have an e-Permit program. I didn’t want to initially inquire about the process, since we haven’t had any PMs and need one to pass their inspection. In perusing the sites, I haven’t found a renewal application. Thank you for assisting with pointing me in the right direction, I greatly appreciate it. I have also been very impressed with your companies interest and site visits taking a more in-depth look at the elevator than others. That’s very positive to me. Thanks again for coming out.

—Alan, IS Manager at VersaLogic
